Rockets exhaust / Space shuttle

Due to diminished Russian activity in space exploration this category may not be too often up-dated. For satellites (Iridium) see meteors.
The first four images are apparently from a barium experiment: an explosion was observed in north in the evening and in the morning a blue cloud spread from NE. It was a bit frightening and actually I wondered whether I might see cars with loudspeaker driving and warning of something. None was heard! Images ra00334 and ra00413 are from a Russian submarine missile fired in Ice Sea 1000+ kms north of photography site.
In star trail picture rak0524B notice tiny star like spots of light: they are geosynchronous satellites! And if you look carefully three of them has fired their engines to correct orbit. (A Swedish amateur astronomer Björn Gimle traced these three satellites and found them to be Meteosat 4 and 5 and Intelsat 5-12. Date was Oct 15th 1993.)
In Nov 14th 2008 STS-126 was launced into night sky. Witnessing this was spectacular although the rumble was less than expected. Seeing Endeavour climbing into starry sky really impressed and demonstrated powerfully where contemporary pioneers now-a-days can be found!
