Still pictures are not good in showing the dynamics of NLC. Luckily digital camcorders are sensitive enough to make quality recordings, and composing time-lapse sequences of footage reveals pretty ordinary looking cloud behaviour of these strangers. However, footage should be checked by professionals to say anything more definite of the phenomenon. In the video section there are a few sample videos. When I can afford more web-space, a great number of video clips will be added - NLC-time lapse as well as other phenomena.
