Having photographed moon for about 16 months a collection of extreme librations was created. Samples of "extremes" have been stitched in different ways to reveal the phenomenon. There are some "like dublicates" here; original images are the very same and the only difference is in cropping. In all pairs lunar angular sizes match. In many cases cropping has been made in such a way that both images show approximately the same lunar area. This gives a clear and an "honest" impression of the magnitude of the libration.
In aligning pairs some common sense has been pursued.. I.e. "something" is in register either on the bottom of the pair, or some vertical detail is in register in "vertical" images.
Image sizes are very mixed; typically TIF-files are in range 15-40 MB.
